Pet Hair Removal Glove

I have four cats (two of them long-haired) and a dog, so fur is a problem. I've purchased several different kinds of fur removers over the years, and I've never been completely happy with any of them. This one, though ... wow! As soon as it got here, I ran around my house rubbing sofas and other places where my cats and dog go.

The photo is the fur gathered from one sofa. Admittedly, it's a sofa that I pretty much gave to the animals, so I don't vacuum it regularly and it hasn't been de-furred in a while. I also de-furred another sofa that I do clean regularly, and I still got a lot of fur off of it. This thing is going to be really helpful.

The only thing I'll mention is that at first, I was just rubbing in one direction, and the fur was being removed, but it wasn't rolling up like the photos. You do have to rub it back and forth to make the fur roll up and be easy to remove from the glove.

These work wonderfully! I have 2 furry family members and they shed a lot! One is black and the other is white. The sticky roller papers don’t really do much but these work really well! I tested it out on the blanket that covers my couch and I really wish that I had taken a video! When you use them, rub vigorously back snd forth, and the hair comes off and forms a line in the middle, just as the ad shows. I evrn used it on my sheets and pillowcases and got hair that Zi wasn’t even aware of! I love this and when it wears out I will order another one.

I highly recommend this for anyone with family members who have fur that sheds… and you won’t be sorry, you will find out there is more fur than you even were aware of 😍🐕🦮🐕‍🦺🐾🐱🐈🐈‍⬛

This glove worked great. I read the strong reviews (in the majority) and the unhappy ones.
I can only assume those who were in the minority need to use it more effectively. Whether you run it over vertically or horizontally, you MUST stroke the LEVELED surface of the offending item side to side for the pet hair to roll up into a string of hair in the center of the glove where the two surfaces adjoined one another and perhaps turn the glove over and remove the string of hair more than once until it is all lifted up.
I also highly recommend the "4-in-1 Pet Deshedding Tool (https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0FJF4CVX6?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title) as well. What the glove doesn't pick up, this will and it comes with a brush that cleans the cleaning surfaces of the tool and what your fingers can't remove from the bristles, an old adult size toothbrush will.

This is amazing! I have two cats in a small space (one with long hair), and this is the best pet hair tool I've ever found! I love the individual finger slots to keep it in place as you swipe. Seriously a genius feature. I'm happy with this item and will be purchasing more for gifts!

For those who are having trouble, I have two thoughts. First, this works by moving the mitt back and forth, not by using one-way strokes. You have to swipe back and forth, which is what rolls and traps the fur in the center. Unfortunately this does limit the surfaces it's effective on, but it works really well on carpet, furniture, vehicle seats, beds, and any other item you can swipe back and forth on. Smaller items like clothing are doable but a little harder because they don't stay in place well for the back-and-forth.

Second, I believe this may work better on softer pet hair and may not pick up stiffer dog hair as effectively. I could be wrong about that as I don't have the ability to test it, but I do wonder if maybe that's the issue for some of the unhappy reviewers based on their photos. The previous owner of my vehicle had a dog with stiff short hair and it took literal years to get it out of the upholstery and carpet (I still find some sometimes after 4 years). I don't feel like this would have worked well on that type of hair.

I have 2 cats that love to lay in the same few places. The first is 15 years old and looses clumps of hair. The second is almost grown kitten. She is a seal point. So she doesnt shed as much but with the hair being white, its easily seen. This arrived today and I instantly tested it. It really works! With a single swipe, it almost totally cleaned all the hair off the area it touched on a microfiber couch. We jokingly call the area they lay on, a rug, because there is so much hair, it kinda looks like a rug.

There are a couple of issues. First, it doesnt work quite like it does in the video. It does make a roll of hair in the middle of the glove, but its not as nice and neat as they show. Just swiping the glove doesnt produce the roll of hair. You have to go back and for to do it. Which would be ok BUT you then create static electricity and the hair starts sticking to you, the clove and the couch. At that point its a pain to get it off the clove and into the trash. BUT and this is the key, it still works more then good enough to warrant a little fight with getting the hair into the trash. I am sure with more frequent uses and much less hair / strokes, this would work even better.

SIDE NOTE. Do not pet your pets with this glove. That will instantly cause static and the hair you remove from your pet is a total pain to get off the glove unless you then go back to the area you just cleaned and do the quick back and forth. :)
